a small factor that i have not been able to come to grips with concerning the position at the brooklyn children's museum is that one of the birthday party options is a snakes and reptiles party. a job requirement is the willingness, capability, and excitement towards handling and showing these such serpents to the children. this is definitely something to consider when offered a job. what kind of sacrifices am i willing to make to get to my next career stepping stone?
during the interview, when i lifted my jaw off the woman's desk, i kindly responded "that it wasn't something i would naturally gravitate towards, but that i was willing to learn." so we shall see. maybe i would rather go full time at the paperie. i can trust paper not snakes.
